5/8" OD low density polyethylene (LDPE) softer and easier to work with than HDPE.  Low Density Tubing is the most popular tubing choice for use in shallow monitoring wells. LDPE tubing is more flexible than HDPE and is less likely to develop a kink. HDPE is generally the choice for deeper monitoring wells.  The difference in rigidity between LDPE and HDPE does not have a significant impact on the performance of the inertial pump in shallow wells.  For use with D25 Footvalves.

Inertial Pumping Equipment

 Foot Valve
 
The Standard Flow System is the most popular inertial pump. This system is best suited for 2" monitoring wells and can provide lifts of 150 to 200 feet. Flow rates can be 0 - 6 L/min.  The D25 offers the ability to develop new monitoring well installations and can remove even the most turbid groundwater with no detrimental effect to the pump. Once development is completed the same pump can be used to both purge and sample the well.  For use with standard 5/8" OD tubing.

The Waterra Valve Wrench is a handy tool which helps ensure that your foot valve is properly installed on the pump tubing. The Waterra Inertial Pump can develop considerable pressure and by attaching your valves with the valve wrench you can be sure that they are properly connected.

 FHT-45 Inline Filter
 
The FHT-45 Filter uses 600 square cm of high quality polyethersulphone 0.45 micron filter media, which offers excellent particle retention above the target micron size range. The high void volume of this media also helps prolong media life.

The FHT-45 also offers the user greater flexibility over other products by providing a compound inlet. It has both a 3/8" threaded nipple and a 1/2" hose barb allowing the filter to be attached easily to a variety of pumps and tubing sizes.

Water Sampling Equipment

 Disposable Bailer
 
Low cost disposable bailer, made of translucent high density polyethylene (HDPE) that holds more than one litre of sample. The rigid body will not bend, and the check-ball is secured in the nozzle. Top and bottom of the bailer are tapered to prevent hang-ups in the well. The translucent body allows the sample to be visually inspected.

 HydraSleeve
 
HydraSleeve discreet interval no-purge sampler

Unlike any other groundwater sampler, the HydraSleeve instantaneously "cores" a whole water sample from a defined vertical and horizontal interval. HydraSleeve samples do not blend fluid from different vertical zones or pull water in from outside the well screen. 

The sample is collected at in-situ pressure without purging and with very little down well disturbance, preventing turbidity, aeration or oxidation of sensitive parameters. HydraSleeve samplers are inexpensive, disposable and very quick and easy to use.

The EcoPlug™ offers the latest in well plug design and is the only well cap made from recycled materials. If you're looking for a durable, tamper-proof well cap that will withstand repeated use (and abuse) over many years, the EcoPlug™ is an excellent fit for your requirements. This well cap is available for 3/4", 1", 2" and 4" monitoring wells.  The EcoPlug™ offers affordability with a more conventional design, but includes the largest sealing gasket of any well cap available.

Waterra Vapour Sampling EcoPlug™. This specialized well cap uses a stainless steel valve which allows you to extract a sample of the trapped headspace vapours.  Pressure tested to 20 PSI, these well caps prevent the loss of well gasses to the atmosphere. The Sample Port Adapter™ allows you to extract the sample without removing the cap from the well. The Sample Port Adapter™ can be attached to a perstaltic pump in order to draw out even more of the trapped headspace gasses.

 Vacu-vials Test Kit
 
Vacu-vials® offer the convenience and accuracy of the self-filling ampoule in a size designed specifically for photometric readout.  The filled ampoule functions as a half inch (13 mm) diameter cell which may be read in virtually any commercial spectrophotometer or colorimeter.  Vacu-vials® test kits contain 30 ampoules, sample cup, accessory solutions (when necessary), and instructions.

 Titrets Test Kit
 
Titret™ cells are an ampoule 13 mm in diameter designed for titrimetric analysis. The ampoule contains vacuum sealed liquid titrant and has an attached flexible valve assembly.  Test kits contain 30 ampoules, 30 valve assemblies, sample cup, accessory solutions (when necessary), MSDS, and instructions.

 VACUettes Test Kit
 
VACUettes® ampoules are used with highly concentrated samples. They employ a special auto-dilution feature that eliminates the need for a time-consuming and error-prone preliminary dilution. As a result, the entire test takes only 2 to 3 minutes, with a high level of accuracy.  VACUettes® are self-filling, 7mm diameter ampoules.   Attached to the tip of each ampoule is a capillary pipet which is calibrated to draw the correct volume of sample for one of four dilution factors: 25X, 50X, 100X and 1000X.  Test kits contain 30 auto-dilution ampoules, sample cup, accessory solutions (when necessary), MSDS, and instructions.

CHEMets® ampoules are designed for maximum simplicity and accuracy. Use them for low- to medium-range colorimetric analysis. Each ampoule is 7 mm in diameter with a tapered, prescored tip.  Reagents are vacuum sealed inside.  The filled test ampoule is compared with the eight color standards surrounding it to determine a match.
