Sequoia Environmental remediation Inc. is a specialized service company focused on the remediation of environmental contaminants in soil and groundwater, primarily using insitu technologies.  Sequoia was formed in 1998 with the specific goal of providing top quality technical expertise and hands on service to our clients who require remediation, source control, equipment servicing, or site closure throughout Canada and the United States.

 

Sequoia provides access to environmental remediation equipment, field services, pilot testing, chemical oxidation, dewatering, water treatment, and more to leading consulting firms, prestigious oil and gas clients, major landfill sites, and sites under all levels of government supervision.  With headquarters in Calgary, AB, and branch offices in Regina, SK, Vancouver, BC, and Williams Lake, BC, we are able to service Canada nationwide and selected parts of the USA.

 

Leaning on their extensive experience in environmental consulting, the principles of Sequoia founded the company because of a recognised need for high quality environmental remediation equipment.  Sequoia designs and builds remediation equipment with efficacy and functionality at the forefront.  This philosophy makes our equipment superior for contaminant removal, translating into decreased operational costs to achieve client goals.

chemical injectionIt is the policy of Sequoia Environmental Remediation Inc. to conduct all business activities in a responsible manner, free from recognized hazards; to respect the environment, health and safety of our employees, customers, suppliers, partners and community neighbours; and to comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations of the countries in which we operate. In addition, we commit to continuous improvement in our environmental, health and safety management systems, pollution prevention practices and safety programs.

 

The owners and all employees and contractors are responsible for implementing this policy in their respective duties, and they shall ensure that periodic self-audits and reports are completed at both facilities and project sites.

 

Our Health, Safety and Environmental Management System has been developed and is continually modified to comply with the health, safety and environmental policies and procedures of our major clients.  The ownership and management of Sequoia are dedicated to leading by example to assure the health and safety of all personnel working on our premises and project sites.

Safety Certifications

Sequoia is COR certified.
The Certificate of Recognition program is an initiative that recognizes employers who implement and maintain a health and safety management system that meets established provincial standards. Companies with an approved health and safety management system are able to identify and assess their workplace hazards and then systematically control the risks to their employees and overall operations. As a result, health and safety management systems can create a culture of proactive workplace safety.

Sequoia maintains active memberships with the major safety registry programs, including ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, and Avetta.
